(Censored moment of the week) So this morning we were painting our wall (khaki--I know we are oh-so-boring) and Ben saw the biggest stink bug ever scamper across the floor. Well...mommy was up on a ladder with a can of paint (not a good plan) when the stink bug decided he would run right underneath the ladder, followed quickly by Ben trying to keep the bug from "cwimbing up on you mama"....as I am sure you have now figured out....down came the ladder, down came the khaki colored mommy, and down came what was left of the paint. The stink bug and Ben miraculously survived. During my trip down to our hard tile floors (WHY OH WHY DID I WANT TILE EVERYWHERE?!?) out slipped what I would consider a profanity to my children's ears. I didn't even catch that I had said "it" until Uncle Sean came home and Benjamin told him "Uncle Sean...we had the hugest DAAAMMM stinkbug you have ever ever seen knock mama over!" My jaw dropped open and Uncle Sean just smiled knowingly...way to go mama!

Okay...so it has been a while...well, maybe like a prolonged leave of absence from blogging. For those of you who kept up, I did try to capture our summer on our family website before it crashed and burned. So for all of our faithful readers...save those rotten veggies for your compost and give us a break already! :) We have a new three-quarters-of-a-year resolution (yes, we are much better at those...too much pressure with that crazy new years stuff). We WILL BLOG! So for all of you who missed it..(it being our failed website) here are some oldies but goodies from our summer in AZ.

ok - so it appears someone hacked our website...so we are back to blogger. what is great about this is that you can check out our archives and see our crazy lives if you just want to kill some time. what is not so convenient is that this will be a temporary solution...but we should be updating this blog for the next couple months and then will let everyone know when we switch over to a secure family and business website again. thanks for your patience!
